I had a planned surgery on 2/3/2021. I had informed the insurance company 4 days prior via the Hospital while depositing all reports why I needed surgery. One the day of surgery I was denied bed initially since the Insurance company didnt give the clearance. They never denied the claim or did they accept the claim. After the a long delay I was only given a bed just 1hour 3 mins before surgery as a result I had rush through most standard procedures. After the surgery insurance company denied cashless facility I had to run around with a bloody nose to arrange the funds. The surgery was completed on 2/3/2021 and everything was denied on 3/3/2021 at 5pm. After arranging funds via my relatives I got myself discharged at 6pm. After paying insurance premium for 30 years this was my gift, no wonder nothing nationalised works. The Insurance company now refused to pay my surgeons fees, saying its above their package. I have a limit of Rs1000000. Either the hospital has charged more or insurance is refusing to pay in both cases the person who has paid the money ie Me is suffering, suffering from the till of admission to discharge to claim settlement. I had the money to pay the hospital imagine the less privileged who pay insurance thinking they would be safe.
