I ordered a Victorinox Swiss Knife from Flipkart on 24th June 2020 ( order no. OD118985106848950000). I received an empty package with only cover/ blister pack and product missing from it on 25th June 2020.
I contacted Flipkart customer care, put my complaint along with photographs of the product. I was told that replacement is not possible hence refund will be processed within 3 days. But, to my annoyance, I received a message that my return/refund has been rejected without assigning any reason. Despite contacting your customer support team couple of times, the situation remains the same. When I escalated it, I recieved a call where customer support team promised refund/ return but again it was rejected citing "We’d like to let you know that your return request could not be fulfilled by the seller as their courier partner has confirmed delivery of the item in your order with order id OD118985106848950000 with the product being intact". Again I complained and response was "contact the brand". This is a case of gross cheating by flipkart/ their seller or whoever is responsible, but why should a customer pay for a product not received?
I am thinking of filing a case in consumer court as they have not only done cheating but their response is trying to show as if I am lying.
