"I had bought a television on 15/07/2019 from Flipkart.com with an extended warranty of 2 years for a total of Rs 39198, the television had a manufacturing defect and later after 11 months, it stopped working due to a defective part which was within insurance, as per terms the television is supposed to fix or replaced or money refunded within 30days. My complaint was lodged on 26/06/2020. It was inspected on 05/07/2020. Since they were unable to repair they agreed to refund the money with depreciation (68days from the date of complaint) which also I agreed. The Television was picked up on 01/09/2020 and the amount of Rs 28799 was supposed to be transferred within 8 days.
In spite of various mails and requests the amount has not been refunded."

The complaint is already resolved but my-complaint online consumer portal will try to help you in understanding the process. If a product is not functional during its warranty period. Depending on the seller’s return policy and the product category. It is important to first check the Replacement Guarantee period on the product page and then ask for a ‘Return. Once notified for return, delivery personnel will collect the product delivered to you and provide you with a replacement of the exact product that you ordered(if you have opted for return) Remember to read the return policy on the page where your product is described. All returns are covered by the Flipkart replacement guarantee. Now, How you can return or get a refund from Flipkart. 1 - Login into Flipkart. Then go to the order's Tab. 2 - Click on "click", Return request. 3 - Select applicable reason (Return). Now you will get three options. A - Replacement. B - Exchange. C- Refund. So choose it accordingly. 4 - Now your return request may have to undergo a verification process. 5 - Confirm your decision based on the product category you ordered. 6 - Keep all the requisite items available and ready. 7 - You will get updates via email throughout the process. And if you have requested for the 'Refund' then it will be initiated and processed if applicable. Hope it will help
